The male mortality in Poland in the age group 15–34 is high, largely as a result of high mortality due to external causes. The School has a regional character, gathering inhabitants of the city of Warsaw and its surroundings. In this region of Poland the educational gradient is very low, therefore, many people from different socioeconomic backgrounds are interested in gaining the health education. Unfortunately, there is no sufficient access to free education for everybody and hence the Warsaw Health School is a very popular initiative among the citizens of Warsaw and its surroundings. Therefore, our mission is to ensure the access to the information about health for everybody. The main aims Improvement of health culture and health status of the Polish community. Tackling Health Inequalities According to the medical statistical data that has been reported since 1991 there was a constant increase in state of health and increase in survival of Polish population.
