In June 2006 Dr Zobel came to Warsaw Univeristy and got informed about very important instrument Bioscanner (Pharmanex) which let us measure level of carotenoids in skin of our hand (easy two-minutes test). Memorandum Dr Alicji Zobel

Jest to wspania艂e urz拧dzenie, mierz拧ce ilo聹膰 karotenoid贸w (antyoksydanty w sk贸rze r臋ki). Pomiar ustala na skali warto聹膰 antyoksydant贸w: czy cz艂owiek ma du偶o lub ma艂o wymiataczy wolnych rodnik贸w. Gdy du偶o, to jest dobrze, gdy ma艂o, trzeba poprawi膰 stan antyoksydant贸w. Pragn臋 to zrobi膰 dla dzieci szczeg贸lnie, bo nareszcie b臋d臋 mia艂a 聞Doktor Zobel Punkt Startowy聰 (Dr Zobel Start Point).

Great! At last I shall have 聯Dr Zobel Start Point聰 and can divide people, especially the children, into a group with enough antioxidants and the opposite group of children with not enough of scavengers of free radicals, who should do something about it eg. change the diet, go to the doctor for further analysis. We started planning such measure of scanning children and action with Plock Hospital and with Warszawski Urz拧d Miasta (mayor of Warsaw) under international pioneer program 聯Healthy cities聰. I聮m very happy about possibility to prevent disease as soon as possible, before it is too late and than to measure the progress of action each month afterwards. Scanner gives us the hope for healthier children.
